Take a look at the conference logo drafted by our graphic artist, Amelia Hansen. This is the second version of this design, meant to convey energy and excitement. What do you think? Do you find this valuable?

Now I have found the logo. It is awesome! I would like to see the scary one, since this one is kinda scary. Do you find this valuable?

I like the logo too! It was kind of hard to find posted as an attachment at the bottom of the conference logo thread. Any idea when a logo will be official? Do you find this valuable?

Well, if the group is pleased with it, we can pay our artist and start using the logo right away. She'll supply in a variety of formats and sizes.

What's the consensus, guys? Do we go with this design? I am finding a lot of symbolism in it: the new rising from the old, the sense of danger and excitement, risk and opportunity ... It really speaks to me.

But our artist, Amelia, is great to work with, and she would gladly revise if you have suggestions.

I'll go with it. It seems a bit startling at first, but the more I look at it the better it fits. MJ Do you find this valuable?

I like it, but the blades aren't correct at the top. They should more like plane propeller--not the flailing arms of a hydra. They should face the same direction--just like the old style windmill. Otherwise, it's fine. It did kind of blow me off my chair, but it wouldn't be so startling on a piece of paper.
