The meeting will be held from September 23-25, 2009 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Holland, Michigan.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;Local Arrangement Committee meeting highlights:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;On April 24, 2008, we selected the DoubleTree Hotel in Holland, Michigan as the site of the 2009 Conference, and set up committees.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;On June 26, 2008, we selected a theme: Harness the energy! Power up! We are contacting an artist to design a logo with a wind power/windmill theme. Our hotel and proposed meeting dates were approved by the MHSLA Board. The Hospitality and Accommodations committees are reporting progress in working with the hotel, finding prospects for our &amp;quot;special event,&amp;quot; and finding materials to publicize the Holland area.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Our next meeting will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Holland. The tentative date is Thursday, August 14. We will be meeting over lunch and touring the hotel. Members are encouraged to bring any hotel-related questions to this meeting.
