Take a look at the conference logo drafted by our graphic artist, Amelia Hansen. This is the second version of this design, meant to convey energy and excitement. What do you think?

I like it, but the blades aren't correct at the top. They should more like plane propeller--not the flailing arms of a hydra. They should face the same direction--just like the old style windmill. Otherwise, it's fine. It did kind of blow me off my chair, but it wouldn't be so startling on a piece of paper.

Anyone else having a problem posting to the wiki? It looks like Trinity Health's filter is blocking the "members" page -- seems to think I'm looking for a date -- and the "easy-edit" is hanging up, too. I'll have to check at home to see if that's also a network problem for us Trinity-ites.

Hello Ali and Chris !
Since we have a WMHSLA meeting this Thursday, I thought that we might want to begin diaglog about our charge as Vendor committee. From the MHSLA website, I have cut and paste the "to do list" of our expectations below.
Once we get the exact date for the Conference, we should begin contacting the vendors. Hence, we may want to discuss just how we will organize ourselves and divi up the vendors.
I will navigate around this website a bit to see what tools we can use to help the committee stay organized and on track.
note - this website only allows 2000 characters per post so I will post our "Charge" after this posting.

Give me a little time to get used to this format, and I'll be able to contribute.
Just a note: I'll be on vacation between 5/9/08 and 5/21/08. I'll have my staff pick up my e-mail , because that's how we receive requests for service, but will respond to messages when I return.
And I'll see you at the June meeting. I'll just get my Tom Tom working for me.

Can we do online registration? I think Mike said it "should" be possible on the MHSLA website, which has more bells and whistles than decent folks need. I'll volunteer for the Registration committee, unless the place makes it more practical for someone farther away.
